Distillery Marketing, Website, and Graphic Design

We helped develop a new website as well as create a new logo, videography, photography, and a complete distillery campaign consisting of great graphics, messaging, blog content, landing pages, and social assets. Kentucky Artisan Distillery is one of the few distilleries that produce bourbon and spirits literally from the roots to the bottle, all by hand. They are our neighbor here in Crestwood and Oldham County’s first distillery since Prohibition.

About the Distillery:

In 2012 three men came together with a unique idea. Ultimately, Kentucky Artisan Distillery was born. Several years later, the distillery is producing thousands of barrels a year and is serving as the home to the third-largest super premium bourbon in the world. From farm to bottle, Kentucky Artisan Distillery mashes roughly 75 bushels of grain each day from the 700 acres of our neighboring partner, Waldeck Farm. Over 35 barrels a week of Kentucky spirits are produced from grains grown and malted right here in Crestwood, Kentucky.

Distillery Website Features:

  • Brand Gallery
  • Distillery Gift Shop
  • Bourbon Shop
  • Tour Booking
  • Distillery Blog and News
  • Distillery Event Promotions
  • Farm to Bottle Infographics
  • Wayfinding Maps and Navigation

White-Label Website Design

Sorry for the blur but we can’t advertise our white-label work to the public. One of our favorite things to do is take on the technical heavy lifting or overflow work for other marketing firms locally and all over the nation. We work with everyone from fortune 100 companies to local designers to bring life to complex web development projects, and we let the project lead take all the credit. Why? Because we love to code, and we love to create white-label website design work.

What is “white label” website design? White-label website design is something we specialize in. We provide services or products, usually websites, produced or developed by our talented team and branded to be sold by other marketing firms for a profit. Why does white-label web development work for us? We love to code and we have a low overhead. We love to design, and create and build the best website in the world, but sales isn’t something we are passionate about so we leave that to organizations that are dedicated to it. Fortunately for us, our work stands on it’s own, and we can afford to offer prices that leave room for a very decent profit on project management. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. The client gets a great website for a great price, our developers get to do what they love and our sales partners get to sell world-class website products to our local community. We are putting Louisville on the map one website at a time, and we are doing it together. What could be better?

Senior Living & Healthcare Services Website

Presbyterian Homes & Services of Kentucky needed a new website design for their Senior Care Communities. We created a design and developed a website from that design, using inspiration from assets and images they provided to our team. Having a great website is essential to making sure new and old clients can find you exactly when they need you.

Creating a Modern Digital Home for Presbyterian Homes & Services of Kentucky

I’m really excited to share this project we recently completed for Presbyterian Homes & Services of Kentucky (PHSK). This was such a rewarding experience because we got to help an organization that provides such essential care services across five communities in Kentucky.

When PHSK first approached us, they were facing challenges with their outdated website. They needed something that truly reflected the quality and compassion of their senior care communities while being functional and accessible for their diverse audience. After all, when families are looking for senior care options, they need clear information during what can be an emotional and stressful time.

We kicked things off with a discovery meeting to really understand what they were hoping to achieve. They had some clear goals: they wanted to save money compared to their previous digital marketing solutions, get more responsive customer service (apparently they’d been frustrated with slow response times before), completely refresh the look and functionality of their site, and ensure the new website would be accessible to people with different abilities and needs.

Another important requirement was creating a content management system that their team could easily update themselves – because in senior care, information changes frequently and families need the most current details about services and availability.

For the design phase, we used inspiration from assets and images they provided to create something that felt warm, professional, and reassuring – exactly the feeling you want when searching for senior care. We made sure to showcase their five communities across Kentucky while highlighting their range of services: skilled nursing care, therapy and rehabilitation, assisted living, respite care, palliative care, and personal care.

The development process was extremely collaborative. We built the site on GeneratePress, which gave us the flexibility to create something custom while ensuring it would be easy for their team to manage moving forward. Throughout the project, we provided digital marketing consultation to help them think about the bigger picture of their online presence.

One of the aspects I’m most proud of is the accessibility features we incorporated. We recognized that many of their website users might be seniors themselves or people with various needs, so we implemented features to make navigation intuitive regardless of ability.

We delivered the project on time and within their budget constraints, which was a huge win for their organization. Since launching, they’ve been able to better connect with families across Kentucky looking for quality senior care options.

About PHSK: Presbyterian Homes & Services of Kentucky, Inc. provides long and short-term care services such as skilled nursing care, therapy, and rehabilitation, assisted living, respite care, palliative care, and personal care in five communities across the Commonwealth.

Event Poster Design and Advertising

Event Poster Design and Advertising for Maker Faire Louisville

Creative Technology Showcase Promotion

Design Web Louisville created a striking poster for Maker Faire Louisville that perfectly captured the event’s innovative “Hack-the-Home” theme. The central illustration featured a humanoid robot walking a quadrupedal robot, creating an immediate visual metaphor for the intersection of home life and cutting-edge technology. This whimsical yet thought-provoking image helped convey the playful spirit of maker culture while highlighting the serious technological innovations on display.

The design employed a vibrant color palette that balanced technological precision with creative energy, using contrasting hues to make the poster pop from bulletin boards and social media feeds alike. Clear typography established event details including date, location, and ticket information, while maintaining visual hierarchy to ensure the central robot illustration remained the focal point.

In addition to the main poster, Design Web Louisville developed a cohesive advertising campaign that adapted the core visual elements for digital platforms, print advertisements, and social media assets. This consistent branding helped build anticipation for the event across multiple channels, increasing awareness and ticket sales among both the maker community and curious newcomers.
