Beacon Marketing
Want to target all those people walking outside your store? Did you know you could be sending them notifications of sales or discounts at your store as they walk past? That’s beacon marketing! Beacons are also great for trade shows, events, or conventions. You can carry a beacon around in your pocket and send your website out to all the people at your event, through their phone. It’s a simple, cheap, and non-invasive way to market your products as people attend an event… and you don’t even have to set up a booth to do it!
Inexpensive marketing solutions
Beacon marketing is an inexpensive marketing solution. Anyone who has a cell phone will receive your beacon marketing. Imagine being at the Kentucky International Convention Center or Fairgrounds at an event, or even at Waterfront Park, a street festival in Nulu or the Highlands, or even walking the streets of Downtown Louisville, and being able to communicate a sale, product, services, or even yourself to everyone within a 100 foot radius! That is the power of beacon marketing.
Beacon marketing is simple and easy. The gurus at Design Web can set up a beacon in less than a day and have it to you, ready to market to everyone around you… for less than $100!
Beacons for trade show marketing
Imagine setting up your booth at a trade show and not only marketing to the people who walk past your displays, but also people in 3-4 aisles over. All of them receiving a direct notification to visit your website, or directions to your booth for more information, or even a message saying that they can sign up for a contest at BOOTH 343.
How does it work?
Beacons send out messages to cell phones via Bluetooth, which are received as non-invasive notifications to a nearby user. The notification looks like this:
When the user opens the notification, they can be given either a text message with a sale notification, info about your company, or they can be directed to your website or a landing page.
You can track all of your analytics and click conversions to ensure the beacons are doing their jobs. Beacons can be easily updated and edited at any time to reflect new sales, services, events, or products (so you aren’t stuck with one beacon per sale).
Event Marketing
Are you an event planner or organizer? Imagine being able to send out push notifications to your event attendees every 15 minutes! Want to alert everyone to a new band going on stage? You can do that. Imagine being able to include a value add-on (or up-sell) to your vendors and merchants at your event of advertising their booth and location to every event attendee within 100 feet of a beacon. Multiple beacons can be included to cover the entire event location!
