Collections Boutique is a family-owned women’s clothing and jewelry boutique in Louisville. The owners had a Shopify store that was not ready for customers and wrote that they needed someone who knows how Shopify works to help get it ready to go live.
We started with hourly fixes on the existing store: repairing broken social links, removing a broken map, adding Apple Pay at checkout, and cleaning up the menu. Then we put together a shortlist of Shopify themes suited to a boutique with a large catalog and walked the owners through the differences. They chose the Impulse theme, and we began moving the store onto it, sharing a preview link so they could see the new look with their own products.
A clothing store lives and dies by its photos, so we gave the owners image size specifications and guidance on banner images to use as they edited a catalog of more than five hundred product photos. On seeing the new theme, they wrote that it looked great and that they wanted to go with it.
Shopify help for boutiques and small retailers
Many small shops start a Shopify store on their own and get stuck before launch. We help boutiques fix what is broken, choose a theme that fits their catalog, set up payments, and prepare product images, so the store is ready when customers arrive.
We help retailers with projects including:
- Shopify store setup and launch preparation
- Theme comparisons and recommendations
- Migrations to themes like Impulse
- Apple Pay and checkout setup
- Menu and navigation cleanup
- Product image size and banner guidance
- Hourly fixes for existing stores
Every project we deliver is yours to keep. You own your store, its theme setup, and its content. If your boutique needs help getting a Shopify store ready, we would love to help.
Digital Marketing Case Study: Collections Boutique, Boutique Shopify Store Setup
We were excited to work with Collections Boutique on this project. They needed an updated website, custom eCommerce solutions and general marketing consultation. Our team collaborated with them on their goals and enjoyed going above and beyond expectations on this project.
Case Study Goals:
In our initial discovery meeting with Collections Boutique we determined that the primary goals for this project included: being able to easily manage products and content, creating a custom eCommerce solution, increasing sales, updating and repairing the website, and to complete this project within the limits of a set deadline and budget.
The owners had a Shopify store that was not ready for customers and needed someone who understood Shopify to fix it and prepare it for launch.
Case Study Process and Highlights:
We fixed broken links and maps, added Apple Pay, cleaned up the menu, compared Shopify themes with the owners, and began migrating the store onto the Impulse theme they chose, with a preview link for review. The new eCommerce setup makes it easy for the client to add products, manage inventory, and process orders, while giving customers a smooth checkout on any device. We like to consider ourselves a valuable partner to Collections Boutique, working together on this project to meet all of their objectives, aligning goals and finding unique solutions to their challenges.
We gave the owners image size specs and banner guidance so the more than five hundred product photos they were editing would display cleanly in the new theme.
Case Study Results:
We are happy to report this successful project resulted in not only a happy client but also verifiably meeting all the project goals, including these points of accomplishment: were pleased with our fast, responsive customer service, appreciated having a great aesthetic design that met their style and brand objectives, being able to add new products with ease and enjoyed our unique personal touch and custom sales process. These were precisely the results Collections Boutique was looking for, and we are committed to remaining a trusted digital partner in support of Collections Boutique's objectives.
The store was set up on a theme suited to a large boutique catalog, ready for the owners' finished product photos. They wrote that the new theme looked great and that they wanted to go with it.
